We will not accept responsibility for delays or non-delivery if there are insufficient or incorrect details with your order. All delivery addresses must include a postcode, a contact telephone number is helpful. We cannot accept orders for delivery to PO Box Numbers and to BFPO addresses.
Customers have the right to cancel their order without reason by informing us within 14 working days of receipt of the goods and returning the goods to us. In this case, they will receive a full refund less any charge for perishable goods which cannot be resold and any items which have been unsealed or consumed. Refunds will be made with 30 days of written notice of cancellation. All returned items must be in good condition. In these circumstances, Lewis & Cooper will not be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Notification of order cancellation must be in writing.
It is the policy of Lewis & Cooper Ltd to ensure that all our goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. To this end, we do not exchange food, beverages or any other items that have come into contact with the person. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Every effort will be made to supply the items as specified. However, hamper contents are subject to demand, availability and ruling prices. Lewis & Cooper Ltd reserves the right to substitute items of a similar value, should the need arise. You are within your rights to decline any such substitute items. In this event you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of goods and we will make arrangements to collect them from your address. You will receive a refund to the value of any such goods returned to us, which must be unopened, within 30 days of our receipt of the goods.
Claims for damage or loss in transit will be met, provided the goods and signed for on receipt as either ‘damaged’ or ‘unexamined’ and we are informed at once, by telephone, if possible, and in writing within 3 days of delivery. Damaged goods must be retained for inspection and Lewis & Cooper may wish to make arrangements for return of the goods at our expense. Returned goods should be clearly marked with the sender’s name and address. Our liability is limited to the selling price of the goods in all cases.
All prices are correct at the time of going to print but the prices of hampers and delivery are subject to change. Product alterations to ready made-hampers incur an additional charge of £5 and are not accepted during December.
All orders must be accompanied with payment. All hamper orders are charged immediately on receipt of your order. The following cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard & Maestro. Online customers can also use Sage Pay.
It is illegal to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy alcohol. No person under the age of 18 may place an order with Lewis & Cooper Ltd if the goods contain alcohol.
Carriage charges quoted in this brochure are for next working day delivery to most UK mainland destinations for orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday: Saturday deliveries carry an extra charge and are only available in certain areas - please contact us for more information. Unless a Saturday delivery is requested and confirmed, orders placed between 12 noon Thursday and 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Monday. Order placed
after 12 noon on Friday will be delivered on the following Tuesday. Deliveries are usually made up to 5.30pm. Delivery is via a signature on delivery service. If the recipient is out when our courier calls they will leave a card asking the recipient to make contact to arrange a second delivery attempt. Two weekday attempts are included in the delivery charge. Subsequent delivery attempts and address re-directions after despatch are chargeable. If the recipient fails to make contact with the courier in good time, the goods will be automatically returned to Lewis & Cooper Ltd and a charge will be made for the return and re-delivery of the goods to the original or alternative address. The purchaser will also be charged for any items which have become unsuitable for sale and need replacing. At the point of order, the purchaser can leave ‘if out’ instructions to be attached to the goods e.g. if out please leave with a neighbour. Lewis & Cooper cannot be held responsible for damage or theft of goods where an ‘if out’ instruction has been issued by the purchaser.
