Tearooms

Occupying the first and second floors of our 17th-century high street store, our Tearooms boast charming views of the bustling market town of Northallerton. Sit back, relax and watch the world go by as you indulge in mouthwatering treats from our menu, which celebrates the best of local produce.

Opened in 1999 to celebrate our centenary in rooms formerly used as an apartment by the shop manager, the tearooms feature original Victorian fireplaces and fittings. 

The Tearooms offer friendly, attentive service six days a week in comfortable surroundings. Whether you wish to take a quick shopping break with a cup of freshly roast & ground L&C coffee (with a slice of our acclaimed luxury fruitcake, of course), or a enjoy a delicious lunch, you can be assured of the warmest welcome in town.
